New Shop: Contrado

I haven’t been this excited about opening a new shop in ages! Introducing my Contrado Store, a carefully curated selection of my favourite patterns and designs on a wide range of items, from apparel and footwear to bags, accessories and homeware. The selection of products on Contrado is bigger than any other I’ve seen before so I’m super thrilled to start building up my portfolio there.

One of the main reasons why I chose to sell my designs on physical products is so that I could reach a wider audience with my art, and also give people the choice to purchase designs already set up on various different items, without the hassle of having to design them manually. I’ve got print-on-demand shops on Redbubble and Society6 already, but Contrado is a little different:

Contrado was established in 2002 and enables creatives to sell art, build brands, offer unique products, and gives consumers the chance to find exclusive, exceptional quality designer products. Each order is carefully handmade inside our facility, often within 24 hours. We use very little water in our manufacturing process, and work with the water board to ensure ink waste is disposed of properly so nothing leaks into the environment. We are always increasing our offering, and currently have a range of 100% vegan, natural, biodegradable and organic products as well as items that we produce from recycled materials. We source from the UK and EU where possible and use FSC certified materials.

So many reasons to love Contrado. I’m thrilled that they are UK-based (it’s where I’m from) and that they are really big on sustainability and quality.

So far I have four collections up (Celestial, Cosmic, Botanical and Folk Art) but I will be adding things over the next few weeks, so do check back for updates and new stuff. And if there is something you see but you’d like it in a certain pattern of mine, let me know – I will be happy to upload it.
